The Nobu Hotel is a luxury Las Vegas hotel within the Caesars Palace resort complex.  The rooms and suites in the exclusive 10 story Nobu section of the resort are something very special.  This review and room tour is of a standard room, while the suites are considered to be some of the most luxurious in the world.  

When you arrive at the main entrance of Caesars, inform the Valet you are a Nobu Hotel guest, and they will connect you with a Nobu staff member.  It does take a few minutes to navigate the casino area and get to "Nobu Way" and the hotel within a hotel.  

As you approach the front desk the action of the noise of the casino area starts to fade, and you discover the quieter, less hectic environment of "Nobu Way."  This is where the operations of a monster mega resort become the focused, thoughtful service of a small boutique property.  

The lobby isn't very large, and sometimes becomes crowded, but the area's beautiful natural materials are a dramatic contrast to the casino glitter.  Nobu provides its guests with a concierge floor, exclusive lounge, private gym and around-the-clock concierge.  Check-in was quick and efficient, and before I knew it, a staff member was escorting me to my room. 

Caesars runs a pretty tight operation, but this is Vegas, and sometimes it feels like people right off the street have easy access to resort rooms.  But Nobu elevators require a room key to operate, giving you a sense of added security.  

The front desk employee who walked me to my room asked if everything was acceptable.  I noticed the room was dark, due to a very deep exterior overhang above the window.  He contacted the desk and quickly found another room.

This standard room was large and beautifully appointed.  The large graphic above the bed was captivating and evoked feelings of the sea.  The bed and pillows were very comfortable.  Linens were top quality with a medium weight comforter. 

At every turn the luxurious details will draw you in.  A large solid wood table demonstrates a respect for quality woods and echoes the simple elegant Asian inspired design of the Nobu Hotel.  Many will visit Las Vegas for fun, but many come to this desert oasis to do business at one of the many trade shows.  The business traveler should know that my standard room did not have a desk.

WiFi signal was strong and the connection fast and responsive.  A nice big HDTV with a good quality signal.  The TV base unit included only two drawers, the rest is taken up by a mini-bar.  Includes a tea kettle, no coffee maker.  Additional drawer storage is in the closet, which also included a safe, iron & ironing board, two robes, and two pairs of slippers.  

The Asian respect for fine woods and materials continues into the bathroom.  The sink is beautiful, but not that practical.  Lighting at the mirror was excellent. 

In addition to the two robes in the closet, two additional robes are provided in the bath.  A beautiful wooden makeup table with seat is also provided. 

Additional wood in the bath continues the contrast between the materials.  Nobu towels were plentiful and of high quality. 

A finely crafted wooden bench in the shower was a new item for me, but is not a surprise in this Asian inspired hotel.

 First time I've seen bath products from Natura Bisse in a hotel.  Very nice...

The room's air conditioner was quiet and easy to control.  No noise from the neighbors.  A welcome oasis in the the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.  The Nobu Hotel tower is very centrally located within the larger hotel.  My three night stay was in January of 2014, and was thanks to my website sponsors/supporters.  I received no free services from this property.  For the latest on rates and services visit the Nobu website. 

The Nobu Hotel is part of the group that runs the renowned Nobu Restaurants.  And guests of the hotel get priority reservations at the restaurant located just steps away from the hotel's lobby.  Guests of the hotel also receive VIP access to the Caesars Palace PURE nightclub, the 21 and over European style topless pool, and an exclusive Nobu room service menu.  All great perks!

Within easy access to the Nobu Hotel are several dining options within the Caesars resort.  During my visit, I skipped the hotel's famous Nobu Restaurant and enjoyed the Payard Patisserie & Bistro, Beijing Noodle No. 9, Rao's, Empress Court, and Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill.  This is one of my favorite Vegas properties when it comes to dining.  I've not had a chance to try the main Bacchanal Buffet but I understand it is one of the best in town.

Many come to Vegas for the casino action.  I came out almost even playing the slots and video poker.  I splurged on the amazing Celine Dion show, and really enjoyed the bawdy and outlandish adult show Absinthe.  If you are interested in shopping,  The Forum Shops are an easy walk.

The Nobu Hotel is best known for its world class suites and high end restaurant.  The standard rooms are great, the service and amenities excellent, and depending on the date, can be reasonably priced.   Don't pass it up just because you are not a high-roller! 

It was a pleasure to discover Nobu and its romantic, luxurious ambiance.  On its own this hotel would be lacking many important features.  But being inside the Caesars resort, it offers the best of both worlds -- entertainment and tranquility.
