Sedona Reãl Inn & Suites hotel review in Sedona, Arizona
July 24, 2012
Suite was a nice size with two windows at the corner. Some rooms have balconies some like mine do not. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. The sheets were nice, but not a soft as I like them.
A hutch in the suite has a small bar sink, coffee service, microwave and empty refrigerator. No glassware, small paper cups are provided. A comfortable desk is available to get some work done. A nice touch is the availability of a hardwired internet connection. Open Wi-Fi is available, Ping: 47ms Download: 5.4mbs Upload: 1.0mbs. Both wired and wired connections offered similar speeds. Plenty of electrical outlets.
Two HDTVs are provided one in the sitting end of the suite and one in a hutch at the base of the bed. Both TVs offer DVD players and good signal reception. A gas fireplace adds a romantic touch. The sofa bed offers extra sleeping space for families. Plenty of storage for a short stay, but longer stays for a family would find drawer space limited.
This bright room has a very nice, big, comfortable lounge chair. AC/Heat unit is effective, it also offers high and low fan settings. Visit the Inns Website.
Bath area is right at the front of the suit. Twin sinks and plenty of counter space are provided. A separate tub/shower and toilet room is provided. Bathrobes are provided as is an ironing board as are plenty of towels.
A breakfast for two is included with each room night. The Inn provides a nice sized dinning area with a basic selection of self-serve breakfast items. In addition to waffles, cereal, baked goods, fruit, they offer hot sausage and scrambled eggs.
Pool is averaged sized, and since this hotel is a nice spot for families you will the pool being enjoyed by kids most of the day.
The property is well landscaped, it is nice to see some special attention focused on landscaping. I would suggest you avoid buildings 1 and 8 which are closest to a busy street.
I enjoyed my stay at the Sedona Reãl Inn & Suites, the hotel provided me with an overnight stay so that I could create this review. This would be a great property for families. No restaurant at the Inn. Across the street is a good pizza place, I had the pizza by the slice. Just next door is a steakhouse that the hotel suggested. Also an interesting looking BBQ stand, open Fri-Sun, was located in a parking lot adjacent to the hotel.
