Enchantment Resort & Mii amo Spa Review Sedona Arizona A great Sedona resort nestled in beautiful Boynton Canyon. By Bruce Murray On Travel.com Updated - April 2001 Enchantment Resort was our destination in Sedona and it was delightful. After four days with my Parents in Tucson, my Wife and I were looking forward to a few days alone. As the photo above shows Enchantment occupies the entrance to Boynton Canyon. A private secluded spot 15 minutes away from the tourism and traffic of downtown Sedona. The rooms are spread in small casitas (adobe structures) that occupy this red rock valley. The canyon walls tower above you from every part of this resort. Our basic rate room was comfortable with a large balcony with dramatic views. As the lodging rates increase the rooms become larger and offer additional amenities. Activities on the property include: Tennis, Pools(4 - Main poll shown below.), Croquet Court, Pitch & Putt Golf Course, Extensive Conference Facilities and last but not least Mii Amo Spa!!! A formal dining room Yavapai (above) and a casual bar cafe Tii Gavo are available. We enjoyed our dinners in Yavapai very much, but the service during lunch in both restaurants was very very spotty. We almost skipped dinner the first night as a result of the poor service at lunch. But we were very pleased that we went. Make reservations for a sunset dinner before you arrive. The Spa also has a great restaurant available only to guests. It's healthy menu was limited but excellent, service was also perfect. My wife is the spa expert, she has traveled the world and samples as many spas as she can. The Mii amo Sedona Spa is open to the general public, but it also offers beautiful rooms that are separate from the Enchantment Resort. They offer several multi-day spa packages. These guests have direct access to the spa facilities including a beautiful pool shown below. My wife says this spa is one of the best. She particulary enjoyed the Soothing Stone Massage & Shirodhara treatment. Spa reading room with newspapers and high speed internet connections. Additional Photos: At the back of the resort a gate leads to one over serveral area hiking trails. Follow this trail up the canyon and travel thru several vegitation zones as your altitude increases. I recommend hiking boots if your decide to climb the rocks to the very end of the trail, but most of the walk is very easy. My wife enjoys the Sedona AZ VORTEX....
